Cab drivers call off strike

Ola cabs on  Tuesday said they were back in full strength. “We’re now back in full strength. Now you can book an Ola and continue experiencing hassle-free travel experiences at affordable prices,” the email from Olacabs.com said.

“These last few days haven’t been great in terms of travelling within Hyderabad, and we regret any inconvenience you might have faced over this period. During this time, we’ve



worked hard to get things back in order and we’re glad to inform you that our hard work has paid off,” the email said, thanking customers.

The Telangana Cab Drivers and Owners Association members have been on a strike since December 31 against cab aggregators. One of their demands  was not to accept new registrations on their platforms as the existing cab owners are not able to make enough money.
