In Telangana, the campaigning will come to an end this evening ahead of polling to be held on coming Thursday. The campaigning touched it peak with senior leaders of all major parties criss-crossing the state covering all regions and constituencies wooing the support of the voters for their respective candidates.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior BJP leaders Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Piyush Goel, Anurag Thakur, and Chief Ministers of BJP rules states including Yogi Adityanath took part in electioneering.
Majlis president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi took part in the electioneering and appealed to the voters to cast their valuable votes in favour of 9 Majlis and remaining BRS candidates on 30th November.
Congress senior leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanaka Gandhi, Mallikharjun Kharge,
Karnataka Chief Minister Sidhharamaiah, are among the top leaders who campaigned for congress candidates in Telangana.
The campaigning will come to an end by 4 PM in 13 constituencies while it will come to a close by 5 PM in remaining 106 constituencies. Meanwhile, arrangements are underway in full swing for the polling on the 30th of this month.
All district police officers issued prohibitory orders at all polling stations within the radius of more than 200 metres from the polling stations.
The police officials also issued orders asking non-locals to leave the constituencies and districts to their respective places after November 28, 5 pm. If any non-locals are found staying in any constituency by participating in electoral activities, the police would take action.
