Car catches fire near Renigunta toll plaza moving towards Karimnagar from Hyd.

A car caught fire near Renigunta toll plaza in Thimmapur mandal on Thursday night. Flames erupted in the car which was moving towards Karimnagar from Hyderabad as it reached the toll plaza. Some problem in the wiring was suspected to be the cause

As the car stopped at the toll plaza and driver was collecting the token smoke emanated from



the engine and soon flames engulfed it. Toll plaza staff pushed the vehicle to some distance from the token counter and called the fire service department.

Driver and four persons hailing from Bhagathnagar of Karimnagar town got off from the vehicle. The car was completely gutted by the time fire service department staff reached the spot.
