Case file against Bandi Sanjay over provocative remarks

The SR Nagar police on Friday registered cases against AIMIM floor leader and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi and BJP state president Bandi Sanjay on the charges of making provocative remarks. The case was registered under section 505 (with intent to incite any class or community or persons to commit any offence against any class or community) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Sanjay said that the BJP workers can bring down AIMIM part headquarters in Darussalam reacting to the Akbaruddin statement to demolish PV Narasimha Rao and NT Rama Rao memorials at Hussain Sagar terming them as encroachments. The comments of both the leaders are said to disrupt the communal harmony and cases were registered against them.
