Cash and Freebies Seized Till Date Valued at Rs 347 Crore

The state police seized Rs 3.17 crore cash on Wednesday and Thursday taking the total cash seized till date to Rs 122 crore in Telangana.

Law enforcement agencies seized liquor worth Rs 1.96 crore in the two days. Liquor worth Rs 20.70 crore has been seized from October 9 to October 26 (till 9 am).

Police seized drugs worth Rs 23.68 lakh on October 25-26 taking the overall total of the drugs seized from October 9 to October 26 (till 9 am) to Rs 17.18 crore.

Also seized during the two days



was 19 kg gold taking the overall amount of gold that has been seized to Rs 156 crore.

The agencies also concentrated on transportation of freebies and other valuable material. Police seized Rs 1.31 crore worth wall clocks and cloth material with the value of the overall freebies seized till date touching Rs 30.42 crore.

Officials stated that Rs 347 crore worth cash, gold, silver, drugs, freebies have been seized between October 9 and October 26 (till 9 am).
