Charminar pedestrian project to be completed by March: B.Janardhan Reddy

Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner of GHMC told that a decision has been taken to complete Charminar Pedestrian Project work by March this year.He further told that after receiving instructions from the Govt. the construction work has been accelerated. Whitewashing of the adjacent historical buildings has also been taken up. Mr. Mohammed Musharaf Ali, Addl. Commissioner of GHMC has entrusted with the



responsibility of completion of this project.

It may be mentioned that Municipal Administration Minister, Mr. KT Rama Rao had issued instructions to complete the project as early as possible. A sum of Rs. 87 lakh has been released for whitewashing the historical buildings near Charminar including Kali Kaman, Char Kaman, Machli Kaman and Kaman Sahre Baatil.
