Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari met Union secretaries of various departments on Monday in New Delhi and sought early resolution of pending issues concerning Telangana.
The CS met defence secretary Giridhar Aramane and sought the transfer of 150 acres of defence land in the city for the construction of elevated corridors from Paradise junction to Kandlakoya on the ORR and Paradise junction to Karimnagar-Ramagundam ORR as well as for the construction of a skywalk at Mehdipatnam junction.
She said that the state government was ready to provide alternative land to the defence
ministry in lieu of defence land taken for infrastructure works.
In her meeting with Environment and Forest Secretary Leela Nandan, the CS sought early clearance for 60 proposals pertaining to National Wildlife Board that are pending. She sought early forest clearances for undertaking works under Maoist-affected areas and PM Gramin Sadak Yojana.
The CS later met roads and highways secretary Anurag Jain and sought resolution of pending issues pertaining to the construction of the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road (RRR) project.
