Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Friday signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with Chinese companies to set up a prefab concrete manufacturing facility and another to implement dry port solutions.
Sany Group represented by Haijen Deng, secretary of Sany International Housing and M. Dana Kishore, Secretary Housing, signed the MoU to set up prefab concrete manufacturing unit.
The second MoU was signed by the Industries Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and Wingen Liang, chairman of the Port of Sany Heavy Industry.
A high-level delegation
from China comprising companies led by Sany Group of Companies had a joint meeting for cooperation on Telangana development with government of Telangana on Friday evening at Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rao welcomed the preparedness of the Chinese companies to invest in Telangana.
K. Pradeep Chandra, Special Chief Secretary said that within a month after the Chief Minister visited China, the presence of Chinese delegation showed their interest in the new State.
