CISF Seizes Currency, Arrests Man with Musk Deer Pelts at Hyderabad Airport

CISF personnel with the Aviation Security Guard (ASG) seized 10.3 lakh worth of US dollars, Thai bhat and Indian currency from an Indian national, Mohammed Arif Hussain, travelling to Colombo. CISF personnel CT. Balakrishna and K. Anji Reddy noticed a suspicious package in Hussain’s luggage during a routine scan and recovered the



currency. 

Meanwhile, airport officials arrested one Syed Akbar Pasha, 43, of Raichur, Karnataka, for transporting musk deer pelts and its organs. He was travelling to Mumbai via Hyderabad. Chief forest conservative officer B. Saidulu suspected that the organ could be a fake, and had been sent to the CCMB for confirmation.
