With rains lashing the city, traffic jams were witnessed at almost all areas since morning on Thursday.

The movement of traffic was also at a slower pace with motorists driving their vehicles cuatiously to avert skidding and accidents on the wet

roads.

As heavy rainfall is expected to continue today, the public was advised to stay indoors and avoid travel to the extent possible. Citizens may dial 9000113667 for DRF assistance.
