The Hyderabad chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry – Young Indians (CII-YI) and Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) together launched the City Police Hospital on Friday, with the support of VST Industries Limited.

A dedicated medical facility for police personnel and their families, this is a 10-bedded hospital located at Police Grounds in Amberpet. Well equipped with investigation and monitoring facilities in addition to oxygen supply, this hospital is aimed at providing Covid-19 care to the police, who are among the frontline



workers, a press release said.

Sameer Goel, chairman, CII-YI Telangana, spoke at the launch and said, “CII-YI has been at the forefront in helping the society in the pandemic and with this initiative, we aim to support the police as well. I thank VST Industries for supporting this initiative.”

The hospital was inaugurated by Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Anjani Kumar, and the inaugural was attended by Aditya Deb Gooptu, Managing Director, VST Industries, among other CII-YI members.
