The civil supplies department here is setting up a “business wing” to explore means of paddy purchase and export to other states and countries.
“The Telangana Civil Supplies Corporation Board has decided to establish a business wing. In the board meeting held on Monday, it was decided to appoint
a consultancy firm to study and propose an effective business model,” an official said.
With irrigation facilities increasing in Telangana, additional land are expected to be brought under cultivation. This will result in an increase in yield.
