CM assures to regular contract lecturers

Attributing pathetic condition of contract and outsourcing lecturers in Telangana to the negligence of previous governments, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today assured of doing justice to them. A delegation comprising Contract Lecturers association president Ch Kanaka Chandram and other members including Ganga, Farzana, Swarna Latha and others met KCR at camp office here. Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari was also present.




style="font-size:13pt">On the occasion they apprised the chief minister of injustice being meted out to them as in 2008-09 the government sanctioned 73 colleges and shifted 632 lecturers already working to un sanctioned posts. This may result in deprival of getting regularized through GO 16, they said. Reacting to their woes, KCR assured that justice will be done to them on humanitarian grounds. The Chief Minister said that wrong decisions of previous governments causing a headache to the government besides resulting in legal tangles. He asked Srihari to take necessary steps in this regard, a release said.
