CM KCR announces Rs.1 crore cash, plot to Mithali Raj

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced Rs 1 crore cash award to Indian Women’s Cricket team captain Mithali Raj for taking the team to the World Cup finals and registering the highest number of individual runs creating a record. 

KCR also announced a house plot measuring 600 square yards in Banjara Hills to



the cricketer, when Mithali called on the Chief Minister at Pragathi Bhavan on Friday. 

The CM also announced Rs 25 lakh to coach RSR Murthy on behalf of the Telangana government.  “You have played wonderfully at the World Cup. We thought you were sure to win the final too.
