The issue of holding early elections in the state seemed to have figured during meeting between the CEC and the Advisor to the Telangana Government. Rajiv Sharma is understood to have enquired with the CEC about the possibility of holding early elections in

Telangana.

However, the Special Representative of the State Government in New Delhi, Venugopala Chary while interacting with the media stoutly denied that the State Government was planning to advance the elections in the state.
