Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has instructed the Animal Husbandry department to resume the first phase Sheep Distribution programme.
The government has put on hold the distribution programme after the state hit by Corona pandemic. Nearly 30,000 beneficiaries from the specific communities were already identified under the sheep
distribution scheme which provides 75 per cent subsidy to the beneficiary.
State Animal Husbandry minister T Srinivas Yadav has been asked to make necessary arrangements for the distribution of sheeps. Special allocation of funds will also be made in the next financial year to the scheme, the CM said.
