Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has constituted a committee of ministers lead by finance minister Eatala Rajender to discuss the employees’ grievances with several state government employees’ unions threatening to go on strike seeking the acceptance of 18 demands including scrapping of the new pension scheme.

The other members of the committee will include municipal minister KT Rama Rao and energy minster G Jagadish Reddy. The committee



will hold discussions with representatives of the Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Associations and Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association on Friday afternoon in the finance minister’s chambers. It may be recalled that all government employees associations formed a joint action committee and gave a representation to the chief secretary on March 28 and gave a month to the state to resolve their problems.
