With heavy rains battering the state, chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has ordered the State government to be on high alert and urged authorities to take all necessary precautions to protect citizens. He urged the whole State government apparatus, especially district Collectors, to be watchful and take prompt action to avoid loss of life and property.
Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who is presently stationed in New Delhi, has advised authorities in the state's rain-stricken urban and rural districts to be vigilant. He conducted a teleconference with authorities to discuss the state's flood situation following heavy rainfall. He asked officials and staff from the Municipal Administration, panchayat Raj, Roads and Buildings, and electricity departments
to take steps to guarantee that public services like electricity, roads, and drainage canals are not hampered.
Today, the severe low pressure from yesterday is centred in southern chhattisgarh and southern Odisha. Low-pressure-related frequency is concentrated up to 7.6 km above sea level, and the slope to the southwest remains stable. With the beginning of this extreme low pressure, it is expected to proceed west and northwest in 2 to 3 days. Today, the monsoon basin stretches from Bikaner, Bhilwar, Indore, Bhopal, Gondia, southern chhattisgarh, southern Odisha, Gopalpur, and the adjacent low-lying districts to the east-southeastern Bay of Bengal. On the 11th of this month, low pressure is expected in the Bay of bengal between the north and adjacent areas.
