Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao left for New Delhi on a four-day official tour to the national capital on Wednesday. During his stay, KCR would take part in the nomination filing by NDA candidate Ram Nath Kovind for President’s post on Friday.
Official sources said KCR would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discuss the pending issues, including the exemption of GST to Mission Bhagiratha and irrigation
projects.
The Chief Minister would once again draw the attention of the Prime Minister towards the proposal to increase reservation to the Muslims in education and employment form 4 per cent to 12 per cent.
Sources said KCR will also meet Union Finance, Urban Development, HRD and National Highways Ministers requesting them to address the issues of the state pending with the Centre.
