Iftar Party to be hosted by Chief Minister of Telangana State, Mr. KCR is likely to be organized on 28th May. CMO informed the Department of Minorities Welfare that Iftar Party could be arranged on 28th May. However, the final date of the party will be confirmed after the declaration of Lok Sabha Election Results.
Authentic sources revealed that on account of implementation of Model Code of Conduct, delay was being caused in hosting the party. Sources indicated that the results of local body polls will also be released on 27th May which will seize the operation of Model Code of Conduct.
In this
manner, CM has finalized 28th May to avoid any complications likely to arise on account of the Model Code of Conduct.
It is also reported that this time, Iftar Party is being hosted at LB Stadium instead of Nizam College. The tender has been approved for this function.
On the other hand, Muslim organizations have intensified their campaign to boycott CM’s Iftar Party since they are irritated for not taking up the reconstruction work of Masjid-e-Ek Khana.
GAD and other departments have already started preparations for this event.
