Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday instructed officials to settle land litigations pertaining to 462 acres in Kasulapally, Gopayyapally and Palitham villages in Peddapally mandal after MLA Manohar Reddy brought the issue to his notice.

The MLA met the CM at Pragati Bhavan and informed him that the villages have come up on disputed land. Schools have

been set up, roads laid and farmers are cultivating the land.

Prior to 1950s, the land was officially identified as endowments property. The officials who conducted land record survey could not establish the ownership rights. The MLA said the farmers who have been cultivating the land for decades should be given ownership rights.
