CM KCR to convene a meeting on December 30

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar has convened a meeting with the representatives of state employees' unions on December 30 to discuss the recommendations made by the three-member PRC headed by former IAS officer CR Biswal. 

The Commission has submitted the draft recommendations to the government recently. Official sources said KCR is likely to announce the PRC on December 31. It is learnt that the government is planning to give 33 per cent fitment and extend the PRC benefits to nearly 3 lakh employees directly without any IR (Interim Relief). After the formation of Telangana, the



State Government constituted the first PRC in 2018 and extended its term till December 2020 to finalise the commission report and recommendations.

The meeting between the CM and Telangana Non-Gazetted Government Officers (TNGOs) and TGOs (Telangana Gazetted Officers) Associations would also discuss pending demands, including increase the retirement age to 60 from the present 58 years, sources said that the Chief Minister would also explain the financial challenges faced by the state government in the implementation of the PRC for last two years.
