Siddipet: District Collector P Venkatrami Reddy has instructed officials to shift all the files to the new Integrated Collectorate Complex built near Duddeda.

The Collector said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will formally inaugurate the Collectorate building on June 20. Administration will continue to receive public grievances at the old office till the new office is opened on June 20.

Reddy held a meeting with Additional Collector Muzammil Khan and District Revenue Officer B Chennai to discuss about the allotment of offices to different departments at the new building. He said that the



shifting of the offices to new collectoarte was mandatory.

Meanwhile, the new Siddipet Police Commissionerate building will also be inaugurated by the Chief Minister on the same day.

After reorganisation of new districts in Telangana druing October 2016, the collectorates and police headquarters were accommodated in temporary buildings in all the new districts. Though the State government has granted funds to Collectorates and Police headquarters, Siddipet is going to be the first new district to get Collectorate building and Commissionerate building.
