Security arrangements are in place for Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s  visit to Gajwel for Haritha Haaram programme in which 1,00,116 plants excluding 20,000 saplings in forest area will be planted simultaneously at 11am in the limits of Gajwel municipality limits on Wednesday. 

Minister T Harish Rao inspected the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s program including the places where the CM will plant the saplings at Mulugu cross roads, Indira Park at Gajwel, Government High school at Pregnapur.  

Arrangements for the historical and record plantation drive were made with the deployment



and coordination of 1400 officials and 11,000 labour including municipality councillors and other public representatives to plant 1,00,116 saplings in the town area and 20,000 more plants in forest area at a time, said the district Collector. 

The CM will plant a sapling at Mulugu crossroads and reach the MLA camp office at town via Mutrajpally village. Then, he will plant Kadamba plant at Indira Park opposite to the newly-built Integrated Market and one more plant on the premises of one Nagaraju’s house behind Indiramma statue opposite to government high school at Pregnapur.
