Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to have a meeting with DMK Chief Stalin in Tamil Nadu on Monday in connection with formation of the much-talked about federal front.
According to the information, the meeting may be held on May 13 as Stalin extended an invitation to the Chief Minister of Telangana State. Though the meeting was deferred earlier, now it was confirmed that KCR will be meeting with Stalin to discuss future plans of federal front to play a key role in the Centre after Lok Sabha poll results. KCR is learnt to have left for Chennai with family members and scheduled to make a visit to the temples like Srirangam and Tiruchi in that State on
Sunday.
On Monday, the crucial meeting is to be held and the two top southern leaders will discuss on the new government in the centre. Since Stalin has supported the congress and its coalition to come to power, it is to be seen what will come out from the meeting with KCR. KCR has although batted for non congress and non BJP government in the centre is now said to have made up himself to support the Congress with no other go.
Though he felt of a non congress regime keeping in mind the political equations as most of the other parties are supporting the congress, KCR is learnt to have taken a decision to support if situation arises.
