Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday visited Erravalli and Narsanapet
village in Siddipet district to inspect development work of Double-Bedroom
Housing Scheme which is being built for the poor.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister took stock of the situation and urged the officials to accelerate the construction process.The scheme was launched in November 2015 by Chief Minister Rao with an aim to provide double bedroom houses for the poor.

inaugurated in the presence of Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru
Dattatreya and Telangana ministers.Under the scheme, about 60,000 houses would
be built across 119 assembly constituencies in the state at a cost of Rs 4,000
crore.
Dattatreya assured the state government would get full assistance from the Centre to fully help the state in its development endeavour.
