CM KCR's office to be temporarily shifted at Begumpet

The state government has decided to temporarily shift the Chief Minister’s Office from C Block in the Secretariat to Metro Rail Bhavan at Begumpet, till the proposed new Secretariat building is ready.

Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd’s administrative offices are in the four-storey building at Begumpet. Authorities at Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd admitted that there is a proposal from the state government to give some floors of the building to accommodate the CMO temporarily. The state government has offered to pay the rental for the space it will use

Sources in the government disclosed that one



floor will be given to the managing director of Metro Rail and the rest of the building will be taken up by the Chief Minister's Office.

Sources in the government disclosed that the Chief Secretary’s Office, General Administration and some other departments will be accommodated in the Burgula Ramakrishna Rao Bhavan at Tank Bund.

Sources said that the GAD and other departments have already started moving their files to their new office. The Chief Minister’s Office will be shifted after seeking permission from the Chief Minister.
