Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy blamed former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for not issuing DSC notification and denying jobs to aspiring government teachers. He said the DSC notification was delayed by three years after the State formation and the process took another two years under the BRS regime, while the Congress government recruited 10,006 teachers within 65 days of notification.
Revanth Reddy distributed 10,006 appointment letters to teachers at the DSC-2024 teacher recruitment ceremony held at LB Stadium on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering, he
likened the former Chief Minister to a demon for neglecting the State’s unemployment crisis. He claimed credit for delivering 30,000 job appointment letters within 90 days of coming to power.
He stressed the pivotal role of government schools in shaping Telangana’s future, committing to infrastructure improvements and the establishment of Young India Residential Schools. He also announced a plan to enhance employment opportunities through Young India Skill University, addressing the challenges faced by engineering graduates.
