Warangal: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy would be in Warangal district on Friday for the first time after formation of the Congress government in the state. In this context, endowment minister Konda Surekha along with Panchayat Raj minister Seethakka, city mayor Gundu Sudharani, MLAs Kadiam Srihari, Naini Rajendar Reddy, Revuri Prakash Reddy and KR Nagaraju held a review meeting with officials of various departments at the collectorate complex in Hanamkonda on Thursday.
They discussed the Smart city project, underground drainage system, outer ring road, Kaloji Kalakshetram, the Mamnoor airport, the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, and the Vana Mahotsavam and Mahila Shakti programmes. The ministers asked the officials to follow the protocol
strictly for the CM’s tour programme. Revanth Reddy, during his visit to Warangal, would inspect the textile park in Geesukonda mandal and hold a review meeting with TSIIC officials on the companies that were established and the facilities that are provided in the park.
Later, the chief minister will inspect the construction works of multi-storied super-specialty hospital at the old central jail place in Hanamkonda city. The ministers said several developmental works were left pending under GWMC limits because of the Model Code of Conduct that was in force till last month. The CM’s review meeting would help complete all the pending works as early as possible, they observed.
