CM Revanth Reddy decides to extend Metro Rail to Medchal and Shamirpet

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has taken a decision to extend the Hyderabad Metro Rail to Medchal and Shamirpet and gave the green signal for the preparation of detailed project reports, HAML Managing Director, NVS Reddy said.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, NVS Reddy said the Chief



Minister given a go ahead for the preparation of DPRs for the Paradise-Medchal (23 km) and JBS-Shamirpet (22 km) metro corridors.

The HAML Managing Director was instructed to immediately prepare the DPRs and send them to the Central Government for approval as part of Metro Rail Phase-2 ‘B’.
