After assuring that 1000 acres of land was available at Jawaharnagar for constructing houses for River Musi oustees, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday said if need be, the Malakpet Race Course and the Amberpet Police Academy would be relocated beyond Hyderabad for constructing houses for the oustees.

not to get influenced by the campaigns of the Opposition, he said the State government would protect every single displaced person from the riverbed and provide rehabilitation. Speaking at former union Minister late G Venkatswamy’s birth anniversary celebrations here, Revanth Reddy said the government was prepared to spend Rs.10,000 crore for the rehabilitation of Musi oustees.
