Adilabad: Collector Rajarshi Shah instructed officials concerned to make elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of Nagoba jatara. He along with Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju and ITDA-Utnoor Project Officer Khusbu Gupta convened a review meeting with the officials after inspecting the arrangements at Keslapur village in Indervelli mandal on Friday.
Shah told the officials to expedite the arrangements being made at different places around the temple. He underlined the need to provide basic amenities such as drinking water, lighting system, temporary toilets, transportation facility and security measures to the
visitors.
The Collector directed the officials to take steps to avoid animal sacrifices, usage of plastic and liquor during the fair. He told the officials to lay a special focus on preventing food contamination. He asked the officials of TGRTC to operate adequate buses from Adilabad to Keslapur for the convenience of devotees. He added that posters of the fair must be affixed on the buses.
Superintendent of Police Gaush Alam, Sub-Collector Yuvaraj Marmat, trainee Collector Abhigyan, members of governing council of the temple were present.
