Comedian Ali joins YSRCP

Popular movie actor and television shows host Ali on Monday joined the YSRCP with a promise to campaign for the party in the upcoming Assembly and Parliament elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Ali was welcomed into YSRCP by party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the morning at the latter’s residence here in Hyderabad. Speaking to reporters later, Ali said he had met with Jagan previously and now decided to



join the party.

 

“Jagan’s padayatra in Andhra Pradesh has had a lot of impact. The feedback is that people want YSRCP and Jagan to come to power,” he said.

Replying to a question on whether he planned to contest in the upcoming polls, Ali said he does not plan to enter the poll fray. “I will only campaign for the party,” he said.
