Complaints against TV anchor Amish Devgan for derogatory remarks

Several complaints have been lodged against News18 channel anchor Amish Devgan for allegedly making derogatory remarks during his programme against Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisthi at various police stations in the city on Wednesday.

In the complaint, they said that during a show on News18, Devgan made derogatory remarks against Saint Khwaja Moinuddin



Chisthi, popular known as Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaz.

The Ajmer Dargah is the shrine of the Sufi saint who is a revered figure for the community. The complainants demanded action against Devgan and asked the police to register an FIR. The Bahadurpura police took the complaint and have sought legal opinion.
