Nalgonda MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that Congress would win both Huzurnagar and Kodad seats with a majority of over 50,000 votes in the ensuing Assembly elections. While he is contesting from Huzurnagar, his wife N. Padmavathi Reddy is contesting from Kodad.

The two are reaching out to every voter and explaining how the Congress would deliver the Six Guarantees that it has promised to the people if voted to power.

Addressing street corner meetings, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the people have no trust in Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao as he had failed to fulfill the promises he made in 2014 and 2018 and would throw out this government on November 30.

He said that the Congress would win Assembly elections with a comfortable majority and form government. The promises made by the party include a monthly stipend of Rs 2,500, free bus travel and subsidized cooking

gas at Rs 500 for women under the Mahalakshmi scheme, Rs 15,000 per acre annually to farmers and tenant farmers with additional benefits for paddy cultivators and farm labourers under the Rythu Bharosa.

The party was promising free electricity of up to 200 units for households under the Gruhajyothi Initiative, Rs five lakh for construction of houses and land allocation, especially focusing on Telangana's heroes under the Indiramma Houses Scheme are the other prominent promises that the party would implement, he said.

Empowerment of youth, job creation, an international school in every mandal under the Yuva Vikasa scheme, monthly pensions to vulnerable groups, financial assistance to dalit and tribal communities, and a health insurance plan under the Cheyutha scheme are all aimed at improving the lot of the people, Uttam Kumar Reddy said.
