The Telangana Congress has said it was intensifying its preparations to face the general elections in 2019. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said Congress will pursue `Mission 2019' in an organised but aggressive manner.
He was speaking on Tuesday evening to reporters after a day-long meeting of the party leaders that discussed the party strategy for the 2019 elections. “We also discussed
various issues of public importance and the failures of TRS government. Also on the agenda were plans on strengthening the party from grassroot level. We will continue to hold these meetings in every three months,“ he said.
Some of the issues that the party decided were to target the TRS government for “irregularities in the tenders called particularly for Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya schemes.“
