Congress MLA from Yellareddy Assembly Constituency Jajala Surender quit the party and announced his decision to join TRS on Wednesday. He said he had decided to join the TRS for the sake of the development of his constituency.
He also said he would work with the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and ensure development of the newly formed Kamareddy district.
The Rythu Bandhu scheme introduced
by the Chief Minister was received well by the farmers across the State. So is the case with many other welfare programmes being implemented by the State government.
At the same time the Congress leadership has distanced itself from the people. If needed, he said he would resign as the MLA also. Surender is the ninth Congress MLA to shift loyalties to the TRS.
