The Congress is leaving no stone unturned in its fight against the ruling BRS during the upcoming Monsoon Session of Assembly on August 3.
Demanding a 30-day session, the Congress MLAs aim to highlight the failures of the BRS government, especially in regard to rescuing flood victims, where over 40 people lost their lives and extensive crop damage occurred across 20 lakh acres, resulting in an estimated loss of Rs 5,000 crore due to incessant rains and floods.
In addition to this, the Congress will focus on issues like
the government's promises on KG to PG education system, two-bedroom houses, jobs, and financial assistance for unemployed youth. They will also raise concerns about Class X and TSPSC question paper leaks.
While the BRS government has announced funds and new schemes, including merging TSRTC into the government and providing two-bedroom houses and loan waivers for farmers, the Congress MLAs plan to exert pressure on Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, accusing him of making false promises.
