Adilabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, who holds the finance portfolio, on Monday said that the Congress government was preparing a White Paper on state finances pre-2014 and during the BRS rule till 2023, and would release the same in the public domain soon, at an appropriate time and forum.

Addressing mediapersons in Madhira, Bhatti said ‘praja darbars’ would be held across the state and special officers would be appointed to address public grievances raised in the forum.

He attacked the previous regime, accusing the BRS of exploiting natural resources, having poor administration and ruining many institutions, with grievance redressal done only as an eyewash.

Bhatti also accused the BRS government of ruining the system stipulated

by the Indian Constitution by creating a feudal society riddled with inequalities in Telangana.

The Deputy Chief Minister said the Congress would set up an ‘Indiramma Dairy’ as a pilot project, involving members of self-help groups (SHGs), under the Madhira Indira Dairy Project. He said that profits would be distributed among the members, besides paying them for their supplying milk to the dairy.

He said they tried to set up Indira Dairy Industrial Co-operative Society Limited in Madhira in 2013-14, but the previous government kept the project pending.

On the day, Bhatti Vikramarka also conducted a review meeting with the DRDA (District Rural Development Agency) officials.
