The Congress party put the list of candidates on hold again for the second time due to the uncertainty over the selection of candidates. The party had announced that it would release the list of candidates on November 9 which was later postponed to November 11 and now the list is to be released on November 13. However, the party is not sure if it will release the list of 94 candidates in the first

phase.

The seat sharing in Mahakutami seems to be another reason for the delay in the list as the TJS and CPI are demanding more number of seats. On the other hand, the ticket aspirants and their followers are protesting at Gandhi Bhavan against an allocation of seats to other leaders on learning the 'leaks' of candidates selection.
