The Congress party has announced its decision to leave 25 out of 119 seats to its alliance parties in Grand Alliance in Telangana Assembly elections. 

Congress Party General Secretary and in-charge State affairs R C Kuntia announced this in Delhi last evening after a crucial meeting of the party Central Election Committee. 

He said party President has decided to leave 25 seats to its alliance parties in the Grand Alliance which include



14 seats to TDP, 8 seats to Telangana Jana Samiti and three to CPI. 

He also said one seat may also go to Telangana Inti Party. 
Mr Kuntia said the party has finalised candidates for 74 seats and names for remaining seats will be decided in a day or two. 

The polling will be held in Telangana on 7th of next month for which the notification will be issued on Monday.
