The Congress is planning to launch the second phase of the Vijayabheri bus yatra in the first week of November, to cover the southern parts of the state. The first phase, flagged off by Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi on October 18, which concluded on Friday, covered northern pockets and evoked a good response from people and boosted the party activists’ morale.

Party leaders are drafting a road map to cover undivided Rangareddy, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda



and Medak districts.

Apart from the Gandhi siblings, the second phase will also feature AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, Chief Ministers of Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh and key party leaders.

The second phase is likely to begin after the filing of nominations begins on November 3. The final phase will be undertaken in the third week, prior to polling on November 30.
