TPPC president A. Revanth Reddy called on the voters in Aland and Chincholi Assembly constituencies of Karnataka to vote for the Congress party in the upcoming polls.

Stating that Aland MLA Subhash was a contractor who earned notoriety for collecting 40 percent commission, he called upon the voters to dislodge the BJP.

"We defeated the BJP under Kharge and are all set to come to power with a tally of 150 seats in the State. If the BJP had developed the state properly, where was the need for them to bring Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for

campaigning," he said.

Addressing another meeting in Chincholi assembly constituency, Reddy asked, "What standing does the Modi and Shah combine have to face the people having failed to deliver on their promises to double farmers’ income, create two crore jobs per year and depositing Rs 15 lakh into everyone’s accounts. They have increased the price of petrol from Rs 55 to 110 and the Rs 400 gas cylinder price to Rs 1,200," he said.

He reminded the voters that they had voted Congress to power 11 times in the past.
