TPCC president and Congress party MP A. Revanth Reddy announced that nine declarations will be released before the official release of the Congress party's manifesto on September 17.
In a free-wheeling chat with the media on Wednesday, Revath stated that the declarations will cater to diverse sections of the society such as OBC, SC, STs, minorities, and women, while also saying that the release of the manifesto at the last minute does not allow for a fair discussion on important issues. "Notifications for jobs will be issued on June 2 every year and filled by September 17.
If EAMCET, NEET and other exams can be held on
schedule why can’t these exams be held," he said while elaborating on the youth declaration. Proper skilling has the potential to create jobs for 10 lakh youth as nurses, he informed, citing the Philippines as an example.
On the appointment of Somesh Kumar as chief adviser in the rank of Cabinet minister, Revanth stated, "Somesh actually wanted to be appointed as RERA chairman. But he had to abandon the idea after I complained to the Chief Justice of the High Court. The government cannot have more than 15 percent of its Cabinet ministers in the Assembly. We will legally challenge his appointment."
