On Tuesday, Minister of Minority Welfare K Eshwar along with Akbaruddin Owaisi MIM leader Legislature party visited Anees-ul-Gurba and inspected the under construction building. Govt Advisor AK Khan, President Waqf Board Mohd.Saleem, Secretary Minority Welfare Ahmed Saleem, Director Minorities Welfare Shah Nawaz Qasim and others were present.

On the Majlis leader's requests, the Minister has given the direction to officers and contractors to complete the construction work of Anees-ul-Gurba steadily. The first phase work to be completed till Ramzan then remaining work to be completed in two months. The Minority Welfare Minister has accepted that the construction was delayed due to covid and lockdown but now it will be completed very fast.

On the representation by Janab Akbaruddin Owaisi, the building was constructed by the government with the cost of 39 crore. Earlier the estimated cost was 20 lakh. Later more money was sanctioned. The PWD Department has provided four thousand yards for the construction of Anees-ul-Gurba building.

Majlis leader has enquired about the Anees-ul-Gurba fixed deposit with the concerned officers. The officers said that



2 crore 40 lakh amount, which was received through donations have been deposited in the bank. The assets are available in Bazaar Ghat and Gunfoundry areas. The Minority Welfare Minister has directed the officers to protect these assets.

On suggestion of the Majlis leader,the State Minister has agreed to set up a Basti Dawakhana and Women and Child Welfare office in the Anees-ul-Gurba building and will get rent. After the completion of the six floor building, 600 childrens to be accommodated then they will get the education till 5th class. After 5th class, these Orphan childrens will be moved to Minority Welfare Schools.

In the meeting, a unanimous decision was made that commercial space would not be given to the private person on rent or lease. Will think about giving on rent to government and corporate offices.

Janab Akrabuddin Owaisi has rejected the suggestions to give to private institutions on lease. Minister has accepted the views of the Majlis leader. The five floors of the building have been completed. After a few months, the valuable asset will be a training centre for Orphan childrens.
