Cordon and Search Operation Conducted at Barkas.

The main objective behind this operation is to promote adherence to the law by discovering the persons who violate the rules and norms governing

the society as well as civic safety, protect the good from the bad, to prop up demureness civics in old City of Hyderabad and  to protect the public from harm, abuse, murder and infringement/breach of personal rights, peace and order in the society, a press release said.

            Search operation has been conducted at Barkas by cordoning 10 entry / exit points in the limits of Chandrayangutta  by house to house;  60 suspicious persons were taken into custody, among them 25 were Rowdy Sheeters of Chandrayangutta PS limits and verified their complicit.  2 cases were registered under 109 Cr PC against Faizal Salam Bahattab @ Faizal

            During the search operations, 300 liquor sachets were seized from one person Yousuf Khan age 27 years  of  Falaknuma,   transporting from Dhoolpet to Ghous Nagar area in the limits of Chandryangutta and registered a case under section 7(a) r/w 8 (e) AP Prohibition and Excise Act.

            Police also taken into custody of  Shaik Abdul Shabad, resident of  Ghouse Nagar, for  running SATTA in the limits of Chanarayngutta PS and seized an amount of Rs 500/- from his possession and registered a case under 9 AP gamming Act. Sheet is being opening against him.

            Seized 11 domestic LPG Gas cylinders, for illegal refilling from the possession of Habbeb Jafer, resident of  Chandryangutta   and registered a case under 9 (b) (1) (c) of Explosive act 1884 and 6(a) of essential commodities Act and sec 285, 286, 336 IPC.   Police seized 95 two wheelers, 1 JCB, 5 three wheelers and 4 cars and verifying the documents of the aforesaid vehicles.
