On the auspicious Sravana Sukravaram on Friday, Chief Secretary S K Joshi will start functioning from BRKR Bhavan as the head of State administration office has been shifted to the Bhavan from the existing Secretariat. Government is shifting all the offices from the Secretariat which is to be demolished for the construction of new one soon.
While, Roads and Building Secretary office was already shifted to the Engineer-in-Chief office near Errum Manzil, all other secretary offices will work from BRKR Bhavan from Tuesday. Ministers chambers will also be opened in the Bhavan. Officials said that
all the secretaries were instructed to start shifting their offices to the identified locations and the private transport agencies were entrusted the responsibility of shifting the office material with immediate effect.
The Secretaries will hold regular meetings with their staff to ensure no files and other important material was misplaced during shifting. The Chief Minister's Office will be shifted to Metro Rail Bhavan, Rasoolpura. Officials said that all the secretaries to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will also stay in the temporary office.
