Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Monday visited the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) Shamshabad here to review the arrangements made in the wake of resumption of domestic flight operations.
As many as 1600 passengers are expected to reach RGIA from various places in the country on Monday, the Chief Secretary said.
He said 19 each domestic arrival and departure flights would register at RGIA on the first day. The flight services might increase from
Tuesday.
No quarantine is required for those who did not show any symptoms of Covid-19.
Passengers must follow the guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of Health and Airports Authority of India, he said.
If there were no adequate bookings, flights might be cancelled.
Somesh Kumar along with Ranga Reddy district Collector Amoy Kumar and other officials from the airport were also present.
