CV Anand asks police officers to strictly implement government orders banning public meetings

City Police Commissioner CV Anand has asked police officers to strictly implement government orders banning public meetings, rallies, gatherings and conferences in view of the rise in the number of Covid cases.

He asked the police officials to reach out



to the community elders and explain about the orders issued by the State government. “At religious places, we have to make sure that premises are not crowded. Police need to be more vigilant in this regard,” he said.
