Dalit student suicide: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi wants HCU Vice Chancellor sacked

Demanding immediate action against those responsible for the suicide of HUC student Rohit Vemula, AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi today said University Vice-Chancellor Appa Rao has no moral right to continue in the post.

Owaisi, who visited the UoH and expressed his solidarity with agitating Dalit



students, enquired about the incident.

Speaking to the media later, the AIMIM supremo said VC Apparao has no moral right to continue in the post and he should be immediately removed from the post. He also demanded that the Centre take immediate action if any Union minister was involved in the incident.
